39th Wednesday March 20th 1872 I helped about the work this forenoon Mr Fletcher from near Des moines here for dinner Went to town this afternoon stopped at Mrs Ogles and got my waist Then went up to the gallery and had a picture taken to send to Bertie C_ was up to the store and then went down to Sades stayed till after supper Mr H_ called there for me and him and I went up to the University to an entertainment. Saw a certain young lady there with Mrs Farnsworth Had a letter from Flo tonight Thursday March 21st 1872 As soon as I got the work done I dressed up and went down to Robinsons I turned the overskirt to my green dress today When I came home I found a letter here for me from Bertie I wrote to her tonight and sent her that picture I also wrote a note to Mr Huebner did not get to bed till late I am awful tired and sleepy Rather a pleasant day
