48th me when I got here Henry Pomery was here he hails from Chicago him and I called at Folsoms. We did not stay very long. I went to bed rather early as I was feeling lonesome and gloomy. Friday April 12th 1872 Rob found my letter this morning it was from Bertie Croninger she has not heard from Pete nor has he been up to Mansfield. A little strange. It has been a fearful windy day worse than yesterday Mother went to the valley and Hattie and I stayed here at home I sewed some. In the evening I wrote some to Bertie did not feel very well so I took my medicine and went to bed. Saturday April 13th 1872  Helped do the work this morning and finished my letter to Bertie. After dinner I went to town was into Mrs Farnsworth stopped at the store and Mr Huebner and I took a walk around town and he came over with me did not stop but a moment and went I helped about the evening work and went to bed early.
