56th take me out riding We went up to Esthers and then out to Mygatts did not get home till dark went back to town again with the intention of attending the society we stopped and ate a dish of ice cream and went down to [Starchmans?] to leave one of my bracelets for repair and then came to the conclusion that it was too late and came back home again It has been such a splendid day. Saturday May 4th 1872 A windy day We were till noon getting the work done up Mother went to town this afternoon and Hattie of after flowers I was repairing some stockings and I prepared the milk pans and the supper myself Mother did not get home till night I went to bed as soon as I got the work done. Sunday May 5th 1872 Helped do up the work and would have written some letters only I had no paper at noon Charlie came home and Aunt Linda and Emma came with him. After they had gone I went down to Lizzies Had only been at home a few moments when Mr Huebner came. Attended a Methodist concert tonight.
