59th Saturday May 11th 1872 I helped do up the work this morning and then went over to Folsoms and staid till almost noon after we got the dinner over I dressed and went to town Was into the store but Mr Huebner was not there I met him afterwards on the street. I got me a new hat today. Stopped at Sade's and stayed till after supper. The Carpenters wife came here tonight to board Went to bed early Sunday May 12th 1872 I helped about the work this morning as soon as we got the dinner over I sat down to answer Berties letter I had only got commenced when Arth came over I talked to him some time he gave me a good picture of himself. After he went away I dressed myself and Mrs Brooks and I started down to Lizzies when we got to the end of the bridge Mr Huebner came along in a buggy. We got in and went down there awhile We then brought Mrs Brooks home and him and I went to the valley It was dark before we got home he did not stop at all. And I finished my letter to Bertie this evening. The weather has been cold and chilly for the time of year.
