74th Saturday June 22nd 1872 I sat down to my sewing real early this morning finished Hatt's dress by four oclock She wore it to town We got supper early as Father was going away tonight. Mrs Brooks was over a few moments this evening. It has every appearance of rain tonight I do hope it wont rain as I want to go to Richmond tomorrow. Sunday June 23rd 1872 Oh such a splendid morning, Mr Huebner came real early, we arrived at Richmond about eleven oclock. Stayed till after dinner with Mr and Mrs Hastys, then when we were coming home stopped to see Mr and Mrs Gans a few moments The ride home was very pleasant with the exception that there were some indications of rain which made us feel we must hurry home Henry and Sally Hart spent the day with Mother. Charlie went to the valley and did not return Monday June 24th 1872 I did not wash today After doing up the morning I went to sewing was fixing my white dress some In the Afternoon
