78th aprons Mother was to town she got Hatt a new white dress Thursday July 4th 1872 Helped do up the work this morning and had only just got through when Jim Anderson and family and Grand-ma and Grand-pa came Also Aunty & Uncle Walker, After we had got the dinner over Aunt Em and I went to town was into the store awhile supper was ready when we got home they went home right away after supper and Hatt and I went down to Robinsons stayed till dark and they came home with us. So ends the fourth for 1872. Wrote to Pete today sent him a paper also. Friday July 5th 1872 The men went to the farm this morning and after Mother and I did up the work I went to sewing on Mothers light calico dress Mrs Middleton was here till after dinner. She started home, met Mrs Pinney and Sade and came back with them. They all stayed till after supper. The Troupe had a rehearsal here tonight Mr Huebner spent the evening with me.
