89th Wednesday August 7th 1872 I swept and cleaned up the house good this morning while Hatt finished the ironing In the afternoon Mother went to town and Laura was here about three oclock Mr Huebner came over and stayed a couple of hours. He bade us all good bye as he is going away at four in the morning. I had the supper nearly ready when Mother came home. Thursday August 8th 1872 I went to town real early this morning Went to Mrs Ogles and had some work cut and basted did not come home till the middle of the afternoon. Mrs Frost and Daughters were here did not go home till night Friday August 9th 1872 Mother went to town this morning and I was sewing While Hattie washed some Uncle Robert and Aunty were here for dinner and Laura was here all the afternoon and stayed till after supper Celie Pursell was here awhile in the evening I had a letter from Bertie Croninger this morning and one from Mr Huebner this evening. It has been a fearful warm day but there are appearances of rain tonight
