104th Friday September 20th 1872 This morning When us girls were sitting in the dining room pealing peaches Ett looked up and saw Father stepping onto the porch He concluded to stay over Sunday and I guess I will go home with him. I had a long letter from Mr Huebner and one from Charlie Ira and I attended a dance at the hall I enjoyed ever so much. Saturday September 21st 1872 The girls were busy all the forenoon doing the work It was very windy again today in the afternoon I wrote to Mr Huebner and Ett and I went down town. The evening was put in with conversation and music. Sunday September 22nd 1872 It was rainy this morning and no one went to church but Uncle and Laura. After dinner I dressed and went to ride with Tom and Ettie. Then after we came back Father and Jennie and I went again. It looked so much like rain that Tom did not spend the evening but went back to town Jennie got supper and then we all sat around and talked till quite late. This is my last night here.
