112th Wednesday, October 16th 1872 Mother went to town this forenoon and Hatt and I did up the work. In the afternoon Mrs Pinney, Sadie, Ida, Mrs Middleton, Mrs McCall and Tenie Bishop were all here visiting We enjoyed it fine. They stayed till after dark It was a lovely day and evening. I had a letter from Mr Huebner and wrote him a few lines. Thursday, October 17th I washed this forenoon and in the afternoon I did the ironing while Mother went to town I was awful tired tonight went to bed early. Had part of a letter from Dr Harrington. Friday October 18th 1872 Mother and Aunty Walker spent the day at Mrs Judge Miller's. Hattie did the work and I made Charlie two fine shirts. Saturday October 19th 1872 I cleaned up the house and yard and Mother went to town. After dinner I baked two cakes and ironed Charlies shirts Mother and Rob went out to Mrs Bennetts in the afternoon for the winter cabbage Charlie went out to Atlantic tonight I had two letters from Mr Huebner and one from Dr Harrington today.
