113th Sunday, October 20th 1872 I helped do up the work this morning and was writing when I recieved a note from Mr Huebner. I answered it. While we were sitting at dinner He drove up. Him and I went down to Aunt Linda's and when we came back up town we went to his home for my Bird Harry. In the evening we attended the Universalist Church Miss Chapins text was Exodus 14.15. And the words. "Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward" The sermon was most excellent, Mr Huebner and I passed the evening very pleasantly. Monday October 21st 1872 in the forenoon I was sewing and as soon as I ate my dinner I dressed to go out riding and was not quite ready when Mr Huebner came. Mother went to town and Winnie was over to see Hattie. We went to the boat house, every think looked lonesome there, we did not stay long and were going across to the Dubuque road when it began to rain and we came home. The evening was a little disagreable but Mr Huebner came over and spent the evening with me. He goes at four tomorrow evening.
