130th in the afternoon Mother and I washed It was a miserable cold day. We had only finished the washing when Hattie came from Jims where she went this morning, and says she will not stay down there any longer. In the evening I finished my white woolen cuffs. Tuesday December 17th 1872 I worked all day and all the evening on Hatties black dress in the evening The Children all went to a skating party I had a letter from Mr Huebner. Wednesday December 18th 1872. Will Chalfant was over today to finish the kitchen and Esther and Mrs Farnsworth came too When they went home I went over to town with them I went up to see Mrs Huebner a few moments. Charlie brought from the express office today a set of mink fans a present from Mr Huebner to me Uncle Jim Anderson stayed here all night and in the evening I finished Hatties black dress This has been a very cold day.
