131st Thursday December 19th 1872 I was busy sewing on my dress all day. In the morning when Rob came from town he brought me a letter from Bertie Croninger she sent me the nicest little scarf pin. It snowed all the afternoon there was to be a party at Andersons tonight. no one went from town. Friday December 20th 1872 It has been a cold and windy day I was busy sewing on my black dress. Saturday December 21st 1872. It has been the coldest day of the season I staid in the house and finished my dress I had a letter from Mr Huebner and wrote him a letter tonight. Sunday December 22nd 1872 It was a very cold day I helped do the work and read some, In the evening I wrote to Bertie Croninger Aunty Holmes and a note to Mr Stevens. Monday December 23rd 1872. Most an awful cold day I was sewing on some muslin for Hattie in the evening I cut up some scraps for carpet rags
