141st Monday January 20th 1873 Went to school this morning, did not feel very well today. Just as school was out Mr Huebner came after me. He stayed at our house till after supper and then went to town in time for the evening train as he was intending to go to Chicago tonight. Weather some pleasanter. Tuesday January 21st 1873 Taught school today I helped do the work after I came home did not try to sew in the evening but went to bed early. Wednesday January 22nd 1873 Taught today. When I came home in the evening I found Aunty Walker here I sewed a little in the evening but did not sit up late. Tuesday [Thursday] January 23rd 1873 It stormed so fearfully that I did not attempt to go to school today, I sewed all day and all the evening. Uncle Robert came after Aunty today. Friday January 24th 183 Went to school today, In the evening when I came home I found a letter and a package from Mr Huebner. I wrote to him tonight. Weather very cold
