199th Monday September 22nd 1873 Mother and I went to town this morning and got material for two comforts We met Grand-ma and she gave us material for one more. She was over to dinner. Us girls made two of them in the afternoon and evening. Wrote some notes this evening. Tuesday September 23rd 1873 Mother went to town this morning for Mrs Middleton while Hatt and I put in the comfort to quilt. We worked at it all day I had a letter from Mr Huebner and a note from Mr Graham. Lee and I took Mrs Middleton home this evening. Wednesday September 24th 1873 It rained all the forenoon. We finished the comfort and I bound it. Charlie went down to Morelands to a party tonight. Thursday September 25th 1873 I washed this forenoon and Hattie ironed in the afternoon While Mother and I went to town and out to Burnetts Hattie and I cut and sewed carpet rags all the evening. Emma went home today I had a note from Mr Southworth. I wrote to Mr Huebner. Friday September 26th 1873. We made two comforts today. I had a letter from J.J.H. Minervia Hart spent the afternoon here.
