206th Wednesday October 22nd 1873 I only helped do part of the work today as I had my waist to make. We expected company to dinner but they did not come. We had an early supper and Owen took supper with us. We all got ready to go down to Aunt Emma's to the party real early. Annie came over here and we all loaded into the waggon and went that way. We had a splendid time. Did not get home till nearly morning. Owen staid here the rest of the night. Thursday October 23rd 1873. It took the whole forenoon to do the work we were so late getting up. After dinner Mother and I went to town. I went to bed about dark. Friday October 26th 1873. Did house-work all the forenoon. In the afternoon we had company Mrs Pinney and Sade, Mrs McCall and Mrs Clark were here. Sade helped me line Winnies muff. In the evening I attended society with Rob. Saturday October 25th 1873 Mother and Hatt went to the valley today. I did the Saturdays work. Owen was over to supper and staid in the evening. We intended to attend a social at the University but it looked so stormy we did not go.
