207th Sunday October 26th 1873. A very disagreable day. I was not away from home at all wrote to Bertie Croninger and to Mr Huebner, went to bed early. Monday October 27th 1873. I washed some this forenoon. In the afternoon Grand-ma and Grand-pa, Will Anderson and wife were here for supper and they started for Illinois on the evening train. John Anderson and Sade Moreland took supper here. A cold windy disagreable day. Tuesday October 28th 1873 Mother and I went to town early this morning and got some muslin and other things. After I came home cut and made the new rag carpet it took till bed time. I had a letter from Cousin Ira. Weather still cold. Wednesday October 29th 1873 I sewed all day, making ruffled pillow cases. It has been a miserable cold day. Thursday October 30th 1873. We commenced cleaning house this morning took every thing out of the sitting room and cleaned it put the things in again and cleaned the parlor, in the afternoon. It snowed some today and was very disagreable.
