218th Sunday December 14th 1873 We did the work all up nicely today and were only just through when Aunty and Uncle Walker came. They stayed till after dinner and then Mother and Hatt went over to town with them. I washed the dishes and sat down to write. Before bed time I wrote to Winnie, Mr Huebner and Bertie Croninger. Monday December 15th 1873. I did an enormous washing today. I got it all done a little after noon. The Hart girls called here in the afternoon. And Mother went to town. Owen and I did intend going to Robinsons tonight. But I had the head-ache. I sewed a little in the evening. A pleasant winter day. Tuesday December 16th 1873. I finished fixing my wrapper in the forenoon and began to make Hattie a calico dress. I sewed till late at ngiht. Wednesday December 17th 1873 I sewed all day on Hatties dress. Weather not very pleasant. Went to the ball with Owen and enjoyed it very much. Thursday December 18th 1873 I sewed a little in the forenoon and in the afternoon while Mother was gone to town I baked cake and got the supper.
