221st Thursday December 25th 1873. "Christmas day" As soon as Mother and I got the work done, We got ready and went up to Mrs Moores to spend the day. Had a pleasant visit did not get home till nearly dark. Mother got Hatt and I a new calico wrapper apiece. I cut Mothers new dress tonight and sewed till pretty late. Friday December 26th 1873. I sewed all day. Did not get Mothers dress done yet. In the evening Rob Hatt and myself went down to Robinsons and spent the evening in making out programmes for the exhibition. Saturday December 27th 1873. I sewed till noon and finished Mothers new dress. Mother had dinner ready at twelve and as soon as we had eaten, Hatt and I began to clean the boys room, it took us all the afternoon it looked awful nice when we got it done. Rob and Hatt went to Lyceum tonight, and I cut out Hatties new wrapper. Did not go to bed till late.
