226th Sunday November 1st 1874. I did not go to church in the morning. I wrote to Mother and to Charlie Tom and Ett spend the afternoon here. We went to church in the evening. Weather somewhat pleasant. Monday November 2nd 1874. I helped some about the washing before I went to school. Rode out with Ira as he went to the timber. After supper us young folks went to John Hesses and spent the evening. Tuesday November 3rd 1874. There was an election held at the school house today as I had no school. I sewed most of the day. And in the afternoon I went down town and had a tooth pulled. Wednesday November 4th 1874. Went to school again today. When I came home found Uncle Albert McCollister here. I knit and sewed in the evening. Thursday November 5th 1874. To school again today. In the evening Ira Jennie and I went to the sociable. I went to the express office and got my furs, had a note from Owen. And a letter from Mother and Lee that came with my furs. I had quite a pleasant evening at the sociable. A year ago tonight we all went to a party at Aunt Emma's
