235th Thursday December 17th 1874. It was froze this morning I walked to and from school. Did not do much of any thing in the evening. Friday December 18th 1874. I walked to school and back today. I came home with the head-ache. practiced a little in the evening. Weather some pleasanter. Saturday December 19th 1874. I went down town this forenoon. I took dinner with Mrs Beecher. I did considerable running around town. Jennie was down in the afternoon Her and I came home with Ira in the waggon. [Birts?] Hardy spent the evening I got yarn to knit another scarf, I began it tonight, sent a present to Newark Ohio. Sunday December 20th 1874. I went to church this morning. Tom and Ett came out home with us. In the afternoon I wrote to Mother, Charlie and a note to Owen. In the evening went to church again. I am home-sick tonight. Monday December 21st 1874. I walked to school today. I knit on my scarf all the spare time I had. prospect of snow. Tuesday December 22nd 1874. It snowed last night, and they took me to school and came after me in the evening. I worked on the scarf all the spare time I had.
