Apricock Pudding Take a quart of sweet Cream a grated Manchet Six yolks (leave out three whites) of Eggs, season it with Nutmeg, Rose-water, and Sugar, the Cream must be first boyl'd with some mace, mix'd with Marrow shred small, when it is ready to go into the Oven Cut six or Eight, preserv'd Apricocks, in quarters or half quarters, and Stick them on the top, of the Pudding, & bake it Cook Jones A Seed Cake Take one pound of flour well dry'd, & rub it thro: a Sieve 7 Spoonfuls of yeast, Seven Eggs, three Spoonfuls of Orange-flower water, and as much sack - whip the Eggs, and put the yeast, sack and Orange-flower water to them, now put them to the flour, and beat it together with your hand, then set it to the (to rise) for a quarter of an hour, then have in readiness a pound more of flour & work into it a pound of butter 'till it comes to a paste, then break it to pieces, & beat it up with your hand in the Eggs flour & yeast 'till it is Smooth, and put in a pound of Caraways, and half a pound of Sweetmeat if you like them Mrs Knipe
