To Dry Cherrys Stone your cherrys and to 1 pound of cherrys take two pound of suger strow part of the shuger a the bottom of the pan and the rest at the top of the cherys, sett 'em on the fire and give 'ema good boyle and scim 'em overy clean, take 'em of the fire and put 'em in an earth'n pott, cover'em up close and let 'em stand in the syrrope 3 days, if thay be not deep enough couler'd give em a scald and lay'em on sives to dry.
