February, TUESDAY, 24, 1863. Jane and Boys & I started to visit Wm. Kerr & met Him Helln & Lavina in Rockford & returned to Father Durnos with them. We went to little Dolly Duttons consert in Rockford. she is 12 years old & weighs 15 lbs., WEDNESDAY, 25. I rode to Rockford on one of George Millnes Horses after the Children shoes. Wm. Kerr & Hellen sent Lavinas photograph with me to Jane. Got a letter to Jane from George Durno. THURSDAY, 26. I left Father Durnos with Jane & Boys for pecatonica on my way to Davenport. Jane is sending a Box with me and is making up some things for it at Elsies.
