February, FRIDAY, 27, 1863. left Jane & Boys at Mr Millnes pecatonica and took Cars at 4 oclock A.M. for Davenport where I Arived at 7 oclock P.M. expences of passage 5,15 ..pleasant weather.. SATURDAY, 28. We were mustered for pay to day by Col Couther & Capt Hans Company C all present but J Verden. distributed some of the contents of my box amongst the Boys March, SUNDAY, 1. I wrote a letter to Jane yesterday & one to David to day & one to James Henderson & another to Angelina Kerr. I drew Rations for our Company of 16 men
