March, SATURDAY, 14, 1863. I wrote a letter to Miss Hariet Henderson inclosing a ring mixed purple made of shell. I Bot 3 rings of Wm Lyons to send to my Nieces, Went to Theater to the [well?] Known [ll?] play of the Stranger. Orderly Cole went with me SUNDAY, 15. Went to meeting 3 times to day to the epispocal Church twice & to the Catholic Church & saw the confirmatio of about 30 children. Very pleasant weather MONDAY, 16. the sixth Iowa Cavilry left to day for Sioux City. We fixed up and [lier?] back to day as we were ordered out off other one for the officer
