March, FRIDAY, 20, 1863. I Received a letter from Daniel E Stone dated Nov 22 62 with 6, 3 ct stamps & 4 1 cent stamps for me & the Boys I gave 1 to J Baker, [Moine?] smith & sykes & Verden. "still raining" SATURDAY, 21. Bot and mailed two papers with the History of the Union Brigade one for Jane & the other for David. Iowa City Republican, made out a list of absent sick of Co "C" yesterday. SUNDAY, 22. I and F. W. Moine made out the Clothing acount for our Company to day. I wrote a letter to Daniel E. Stone of Eden to day. Went to meeting with J Baker T. Card & Carmichael
