April, SUNDAY, 19, 1863. I wrote a letter to Aleck Henderson All quiet along the lines to day. We have no mail from above] ye. Very Warm Weather. MONDAY, 20. To day our Division was Reviewed by Adt General Thomas U. S. Army. Who is Here for the purpose of organizing 20 negro Regiments. two Regts. from each Division. He & others adressed the Troops TUESDAY, 21. I applied to-day for a recomendation to a position in a Contraband Regt. Henry C Smith of our Co was taken to Post Hospital at Milikens Bend with small pox taken yesterday
