Violet Lea Farm Illinois September, TUESDAY, 22, 1863. We went to Rock ford to day with Edwin. Bought Coat $8.00 Pants $5.00 Jane Bot me shoes $2.00. Had a walk through Town & Had Dinner well served. ,Weather still Cool, WEDNESDAY, 23. Staid at Home to day Reading papers. Visiting with Jane &c She is sewing for Mary Legg. I got some good apples in the orchard Edwin to sowing Winter Wheat THURSDAY, 24. Edwin Durno Jane & I went to Mary Legg's Wedding She was Married by Mr Walton in Mr Dickermans House. Mrs Dickerman furnished the Wedding supper & Mary Married William Ryburn Blacksmith
