Roscoe Ill October, FRIDAY, 16, 1863. We went to visit McKenzie & Wife but He was not at Home. We Visited Jannie or Mrs Baldwin, and drove down to Wm Kerrs in afternoon and found Brother David there SATURDAY, 17. Wm. Drove us down to Rockford where we met George & Ed & Mother Durno waiting for us. It Rained very Hard nearly all day I stoped at Mary Ryburns & had shake & fever SUNDAY, 18. The Boys stoped in the [illegible] & visited Mary Ryburn & Come up Horse in afternoon and staid at Mr Durnos Visiting
