Dell delight Iowa October, SUNDAY, 25, 1863. Alick gave a shave & shampoou. Elsie, Alick Jane & I went up to John Durnos where Jane & me with children stoped all night. G. L. H Came to see me tonight MONDAY, 26. Stoped at Johns all day John is Threshing this forenoon, & Husking afternoon. G. Simpson, Mr Laird & Wm Falkner were in to see us to day also Mr Clough. I wrote Mrs Durno TUESDAY, 27. Jane & I walked down to Fathers. Jane is quite unwell Elsie is Treating Her with water Baths She is some Better in Consequence. I wrot to David ,,Very Cold weather,,
