Dell Delight Iowa November, MONDAY, 9, 1863. Traded a 3 year old steer with Alick Henderson for a stack of Hay Containing 4 tons more or less valued at $20,00. (Diagonally below above entry:-) Paid Feby 7, 1864 $5 00 TUESDAY, 10. Bot a Hog of Alick, and put it up to fatten at Fathers. Helped Alick a little with putting up Hogs. Hauled over some Corn to feed Hog. Very pleasant WEDNESDAY, 11. Raised my Corn Crib 3 logs Higher to Hold all our corn about 150 Bushels, Went with Jane & Annie Durno to visit Mr Chase Family
