Chewalla Tennessee December, WEDNESDAY, 30, 1863. I wrote a letter to Edwin Durno. I am very busey making out Company Reports for the month of December Colonel J. J. Woods has Resigned. His farewell adress was Read to us to night on Dress parade THURSDAY, 31. Mustered for pay by Col Stibbs 12" Iowa asisted by E. M. Vanduzee 12" Iowa 34 Enlisted men of Co C have joined the vetern service. Very Cold with some snow This finishes the year of 1863, and the foregoing notes may assist my memory when I make a fuller statement of our Past years operations O Sergt,, W. L. Henderson
