29 Memphis Tennessee January 29th 1864 Friday wrote to Ben Sharp this forenoon in the Rooms of the Christian Commission where I went to spend a few minutes. it is a splendid arangement writting material, Reading matter & music furnished gratis to soldiers. Received a letter from G. L. Hender[son?] today. Spent some time looking over the City with some of our Boys very pleasant weather
