31 Memphis Tennessee January 31th 1864 Sunday our Regiment were paid of today up to December 31th 1863 we also Received our old Bounty of 100.00 and settlement of Clothing account to same day, so our next payment will be on our Vetern Rolls. My back pay, Bounty, & Clothing came to $244.80. I sent per Adams express Co. 100.00 to Jane & 130.00 to G. L. Henderson. Janes Birthday [vertical writing] our Co sent Home by express $4000.00 I got up the package
