61 Black River Bridge Miss March 1" 1864 Tuesday We are making arrangements to procure the Henry Rifle a 17 shooter to arm the Regiment with each man to buy His own gun and Have it at the close of the war. Cost $40.00. It is very cold today, fires & over coats are absoutely nessesary for comfort. 9 of our men on Pickett
