85 Fayette Iowa March 25th 1864 Friday We Reached Fayette this morning at daylight after traveling all night. got breakfast and started for West Union. Reached there at noon got Dinner at Coles & the Company seperated. I Rod to Clermont with Capt Apleman. the Jordan Boys & I Rode up to the prairie & I Reached Home & found [Janie?] & Boys all right
