91 Home in Iowa March 31th 1864 Thursday I laid the bottom Rail of some worn fences & staked off some fence lines etc etc and I feel I could go right along with farm the same as if I had been at it steady insted of soldiering for so long & I would like it to, with the sweet & enlivening association of Domestic Life with Wife & Children
