Iowa April 7th 1864 Thursday Jane & I accom panied by David went down to Mr Warner's, & had a very cordial welcome. the feel the loss of thier son very much But dont Regret His sacrifice. Jane got some House plants. We made some calls in Cler -mont, & got Home at night & stoped at Father's tonight
