125 Gen Hosp Davenport May 4th 1864 Wensday I am troubled considerable with [Neuralghics] in Left side of face & ear Head & arm with consideral pain & Restlessness. I Read considerable However. But am very lonesome & uneasy. The 3d Iowa Infantry came in today from Vetran furlough. Weather quite pleasant. I gave some apples to two Indians.
