126 Gen Hospl Davenport May 5th 1864 Thursday My throat is very sore today with stifness of all the Cords of neck. I keep on wet clothes nothing else is done for it. the Book & Magazines on the ward tables have all been read by me, together with the Tribune which I get every morning. We had a very fine Shower this evening
