130 Gen Hospl C. McLellan Davenport Iowa May 9th 1864 Monday I am quite sick today & unable to sit up. Vomiting & Bleeding at the nose some. the quinine was continued today in shape of pills. I have eat nothing for two days. the medicine I have taken makes my Head rather mixed & I have to open my eyes to realize my situation
