131 Gen Hospl Camp McLellan Davenport Iowa May 10th 1864 Tuesday I got up this forenoon & sit up long enough to look over the paper. My appetit is returning & I was up all afternoon Reading some & writting some notes in this Book. It is very lonesome for me Here as I get no letters from Home, & the hallucinations of a Tempory fever is very iritating helped by drug Medicins
