137 Hospital Davenport May16th 1864 Monday Still in Hospital But I am getting anxious to leave for I was never so lonesome in my life before. I got some milk today, my apptite is returning. I went down to the River to see the Indians dive for shells which they make into rings &c for sale. the Boys are Bathing in the River & it is quite warm & summer like now
