Elliston Miss July 16th 1864 Saturday we marched to Elliston to day a distance of 10 miles & Camped. no fighting to day the 1st Div in front I got some good Black Berries to day & had a good wash off in the creek I saw James Henderson yesterday all right His Regt was engaged at the old Town Creek
