31 Selma Ala July 23d 1865 Sunday Before being relieved from Duty this morning I made a report of Prisoners &c to Capt Bremner Officer of Day. and reported that 6 six Children 3 white & 3 Colored are Confined in Prison who are of an age to preclude the posibility of Crime & Ought to be provided for. The weather is most intensly Hot yesterday and To day. Recd of Sergt W. R. Mathews Regt Bakery proceeds for past week 6,50
