33 Selma Ala, July 24"/ 65 Monday Governor Parsons issued His proclamation Declaring Civil Law in this State, and Declaring the military power subservient to the Civil. We are finishing up our Records, & filling up our Books, Settling up accounts in Books &c. Troops are moving through Here for Mobile and other points, the 11" Wis passed through to day for Mobile. Late orders are heavey on having all the verous Straps, Bars, Cords &c worn on all Uniforms.
