35 Selma Ala July 26" 1865 Wedensday The season is growing very Sickly. Our Company of 46 men present have 13 Sick and other Companies even in a larger proportion. and the vollies of Musketry over the graves of new and needless [?] is of frequent occurence, I say needless because the Troops Should be sent Home, now that the war is over., and not kept here to Die. We had a present of 4 fine mellons from R. D. Williams yesterday, (Vertically, at left:-) J W McCall W, R, Rockwell
