39 Selma Ala July 29" 1865 Saturday Received a letter from Jane to day, in which I learned of a Serious trouble with a [?] [on?] Frank who neglected His [train?] when He went to School, I Cannot but think some of those troubles were Caused by Circumstances that might have been prevent were I at Home, for the little fellows have to do many things unsuited to their age, as has their Mother also Which makes me more anxious to get Home
