43 Selma Ala Augt 2d 1865 Wedensday Relieved from Guard at 8 this morning The most conglomerate mass of Rumours are afloat about being Mustered out, Relieved from Duty at this Post &c, &c, and the hope for Such an event is gaining Strenth But Hope is all the foundation for the wished for event. The most bitter hatred of the present Duty is is gaining Strenth every day, and the Veterans here are being forever Disgusted with the Army
