48 & honor. S.B. Card was arrested for assaulting Citizens, and I found where He & George Brown of Co "C" had Maltreated a profligate Woman Jan Taylor, and [fearing?] a serous Charge against them in consequence I with a Guard visited the Woman & found Her Dead drunk, & incapable of giving information But with evident marks of violence on Her person.
